usual holy week ( pagninilay - nilay )

We all know that during holy week many filipinos are staying at home reminiscing the sacrifices of Jesus Christ, some of the filipinos are visiting some of the churches or so called "Bisita Iglesia"  and some are going home to there provinces to reunite with their family, at the end of the holy week filipinos are used to cooked " malagkit " one of the Filipino delicacy. Some of the filipino norms is during holy week filipino catholics are used to not eat meat during the said festive as a contribution to the sacrifices of Jesus Christ.

During the holy week I and some of our family members stayed at home, we watch many movies about Jesus Christ journey; upon watching movies we also remember all our sins and have been realized all our mistake. Monday to thursday my mom is out for work as a sales clerk in a private construction and lumber department, so she is not with us in celebrating the holy week. good friday is the day where all our family members are complete, it is my mom's day off We are happy to be with her. We have celebrated the good Friday by staying at home and preparing " malagkit" and "bangus" with a sauce of soy and calamansi partnered with a cup of rice. hmmmmm yummy!... I'm already craving for it ... The teaching of my ancestor is been passed through generations until it reach my generation, they say that during holy week most of filipino's are not allowed to eat meat of those four legged animals, well they say that it is like our contribution for Jesus Christ sacrifices to pay all our sins for our salvation and peace. At this time we realized that jesus Christ is good, maybe for some we can't do what he have done we can't sacrifice what we have for others peace but Jesus Christ have opened my heart and mind. It lighten me up and have been cleared my thoughts about Jesus Christ.
